For almost three decades, Canada's country music industry has honoured artists, songwriters, broadcasters and "industry builders" by inducting them into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Honour, which was originally established in 1984.

Induction into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Honour recognizes long-term contributions to the growth and development of Canadian country music. The recipient may be living or deceased, an Artist, Builder or Broadcaster, but must be recognized for his/her achievements as a Canadian.

This special evening of tributes will be hosted by Canadian country music stars Jason McCoy and Michelle Wright and will feature performances by Jaydee Bixby, Dean Brody, Hey Romeo, Carolyn Dawn Johnson and Crystal Shawanda.

Inductees: Donna & Leroy Anderson, Willie P. Bennett, Marie Bottrell, Eddie Eastman, Ray St. Germain, Don Harron, Fred McKenna, Wayne Rostad, Joyce Smith and Hal & Ginger Willis.

+1 # James Littlejohn 2010-07-15 06:14 I am so overjoyed with the inductees, o2, wayne rostad, and Joyce Smith. As in 1954-1956, I sang on CFCW, TOWN & COUNTRY every Saturday afternoon. I got to know Joyce, efye myers, Jim orge, and a few morwe that I can't think of now. Sorry I can't be there in person but my heart is there, .I love you , you have done our family proud.. Mom will be looking down at the proceedings.
