The mysteries and wonders of space inspire thoughts and great music. This concert will feature the world premier of two new compositions, "...and Einstein Said" by St. Albert resident Trent Worthington, and "Maker of the Stars" composed by Vancouver's Larry Nickel.

Selections from Urmas Sisask's "Gloria Patri" and Ligeti's "Lux Aeterna" written for sixteen voices which came to fame when Stanley Kubrick used it in his movie "2001-A Space Odyssey" will also be presented.

A portion of the concert will be accompanied by stunning photos of the universe taken from the Hubble's Space Telescope.

Join Marg Daly, Master of Musicology, for pre-concert talks beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance.

This performance takes place at McDougall United Church.
