Pro Coro opens its 30th season with spectacular music for chamber choir, including Brahms' Zigeunerlieder, the first movement of Alfred Schnittke's Concerto for Choir and Frank Martin's Mass for Double Choir. The Schnittke is a stunning work, with influences from Rachmaninoff's beautiful Vespers. The Martin Mass written in 1922 is recognized today as one of the great choral monuments of the 20th century.

Join Marg Daly, Master of Musicology, for pre-concert talks beginning 45 minutes prior to each performance.
