Reserved seating, all tickets $25 plus applicable service charges.

Part of the proceeds from the concert will go towards the Slave Lake relief effort. Global Country is also asking individuals and businesses to purchase tickets at $25 each, which will be given to Slave Lake evacuees so they can enjoy a few hours of respite from all the stress they are under. There will also be opportunities at the concert to make a donation to the Slave Lake cause.

Artist line up includes new country recording artist Tennille, who is featured on CMT with her video “Pictures on a Crooked Wall”, Lisa Hewitt, Tracy Millar, Samantha King, and Mike Gouchie, with special guests, the Internationally acclaimed Emeralds. This band has toured the world, has 6 gold, 2 platinum, and 1 double platinum awards. They have 29 albums and have been inducted into the City of Edmonton's Cultural Hall of Fame. Their instrumental hit, The Bird Dance, won them fame all over the world. Their addition to the line-up is bound to make this a highly entertaining event.

The audience will once again participate in the concert by voting for one of five finalists to determine this year’s Global Country Star Search winner. The five finalists were chosen by judges, at a preliminary competition held on May 14th in Edmonton. There finalists are: Andrew Scott, Beaumont; Jayson Bendera, Kamloops; Joe Bauman, Red Deer; Stephanie Roinier,
Chicoutimi, Quebec; and Tyler Lizotte, Fort Vermillion.

Also performing will be this year’s other Country Star Search winners: Brendan Guy from Leduc in the Junior category, Payton Klassen from Sherwood Park in the Youth division, and Tommy Mueller from Calgary in the over 35 category. In addition, winners from last year’s competitions, Livy Jeanne and Kasha, who represented Global Country at the North American Country Music Associations International competitions in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, this past March, and were successful International winners in several categories, will demonstrate their award winning performances.
