Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem

You may not have known it, but Johannes Brahms himself made an adaptation of his German Requiem for piano four hands. In it, he takes his monumental work and casts it in a more intimate way, making it a transparent chamber work. Pro Coro's fabulous voices will allow you to hear this work in a new way, and its message of hope ("Blessed are they who mourn") makes it perfect for Good Friday.
