Booking Guidelines

The Francis Winspear Centre for Music - home of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra - is pleased to accept bookings for all groups.

Operating on a September to August season, the Edmonton Symphony, as the resident orchestra, retains first booking privileges on select dates.

Payment of Deposits

An initial deposit, equivalent to 100% of the base rent, must be remitted along with a signed lease at least 4 months before the event. The balance of the base rent is due 30 days before the event.

Cancellation

If a booking is cancelled once the deposit has been received, 100% of the deposit is forfeited plus any incurred or committed expenses.

Insurance

Proof of Liability coverage of $2,000,000 required at time of signing lease agreement. Liability Insurance can be purchased from the Winspear Centre for $200.00.

Merchandise Sales

The Winspear Centre collects a 20% commission on all merchandise sales. This does not include a seller. Sellers are available at $18 per hour.

House Seats

18 designated seats to be retained for the exclusive use of the Winspear Centre without charge.
