Jeremiah McDade is a multi-award winning producer, arranger, composer, and multi-instrumentalist, equally at home on whistles, saxophones, violin, and flute. He seamlessly moves from one instrument to the next introducing the audience to the rich aural textures and colours that mark his performances.

His compositional style combines traditional world music with jazz while focusing on the energy and spontaneity of improvisation. Jeremiah first performed professionally with his family at age five and has never looked back. He frequently performs at festivals and theatres throughout North America and Europe with his group, The McDades, as well as collaborating and recording with a wide variety of artists and ensembles. Jeremiah graduated with high distinction from the Jazz Performance program at McGill University and was a 2014 distinguished alumni of MacEwan University and has been called “The Dizzy Gillespie of the Irish Tin Whistle”.
