Zoë Sellers

Violin II

A native of Edmonton, Zoë has been a member of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for 37 years.

During the first decade of her tenure with the ESO, Zoë was proud to share the stage with Bobby McFerrin, Bernadette Peters, Marvin Hamlisch, the Smothers Brothers, Luciano Pavarotti, and Air Farce, just to name a few. Some of her favourite experiences with the ESO include the trip to Vancouver to perform at the World’s Fair in 1986, as well as the Northern Lights tour in 1994. Perhaps her proudest moment was when the ESO performed in Carnegie Hall.

To unwind, Zoë enjoys short trips to Elk Island Park for hiking, as well as walking her Labrador retriever, Angus. Some of her favourite composers to perform are John Williams, Stephen Sondheim, Dmitri Shostakovich, and Igor Stravinsky.
