YOUR ESO HAS A FRESH LOOK. HERE IS ITS STORY.
Long before Edmonton, there was the North Saskatchewan River.
A place where nature opened a channel for human connection.
We exchanged goods, shared stories, and performed music together.
It was a social network decades before the term was coined.
For centuries, humanity thrived like this in the valley.
But somewhere down the river, we lost our way.
We built digital walls.
We turned fellowship into a commodity.
We automated what humans did best: connect.
But the river never forgot its journey.
If you head north, where the Winspear Centre proudly sits above the river.
You can still hear it.
A current of music.
Rising from the orchestra.
Echoing through the Winspear.
Flowing out into the community.
At the heart of that current is the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
Gathering people.
Carrying stories forward.
Reminding us what connection sounds like.
So for all who find themselves in the river valley,
we invite you to stay a while and listen.
Because just like the North Saskatchewan River,
the ESO is for everyone.
