Give the gift of orchestral music! Purchase single tickets to any of our live ESO performances for your loved ones, starting at $25 for adult tickets*. Youth tickets are available at $15**. And remember: there’s nothing wrong with giving yourself a Christmas gift too!

Handel's Messiah

Presented by Edmonton Symphony Orchestra & Richard Eaton Singers

December 3 & 4, 2021

Rejoice! Handel's treasured sacred work, which has long been a beloved holiday staple, returns to the Winspear stage. Co-presented by the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra (ESO) and the Richard Eaton Singers (RES), this classic Christmas tradition will put you in the holiday mood with its splendid arias, including the famous "Hallelujah" chorus.

A Traditional Christmas

Presented by Londonderry Mall

December 17 - 23, 2021

A musical celebration of seasonal favourites from around the world. In addition to traditional songs and carols (O Tannenbaum, Hanukkah Song, Go Tell It on the Mountain, Deck the Halls, Joy to the World, O Come All Ye Faithful, Silent Night, and many more), this concert will feature musicians from your ESO.

Holiday Magic

Hop in a sleigh and jingle all the way to a concert brimming with holiday magic. In addition to songs such as Frosty the Snowman, Silver Bells, and Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the program will include music from How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, Frozen, and Harry Potter.

Rock has always been the music of the possible. And out of the experimental 60s came two trends that would seem to be polar opposites – but have more in common than you think. Heavy metal? Too lowbrow. Progressive Rock? Too highbrow. Discover the origins of two of the most influential streams of rock music, and where they are today. From Black Sabbath and King Crimson to the artists keeping the flames burning bright into the future.

Spring Break Camp

12-15 Year Olds | March 28 - April 1, 2022

Join us for Spring Break at the Winspear Centre as we sing, laugh, play, and engage in music-making together. Your child will receive group instruction time, individual attention, and support from our qualified teachers on their choice of either the Violin or Ukulele. Participants will also have fun experiencing other instruments and the joy of music altogether during the camp.

In addition to playing instruments, there are opportunities for your child to further explore the Winspear Centre, play lots of games, meet new friends, and showcase what they’ve learned at the end of the week in a special sharing concert! Fill Spring Break time with string time and enjoy a fun week of melody, harmony, rhythm, and more!

Join one of our education professionals at the Winspear or online for a live presentation of engaging activities at an affordable price. Davis Concert Organ Demo

45 Minutes

This interactive demonstration of the largest pipe organ in a concert hall in Canada will educate you about how it was built, where it came from, and who it is named after, plus how this pipe organ makes its glorious sound.
