Are you a musician who hasn't picked up their instrument in a while? Or maybe you practice regularly, but you’re looking for an opportunity to play in an ensemble and learn from established players? Maybe it’s just time to take a break from your busy professional life and focus on your love of music!
For five days every summer, adult musicians from Edmonton and surrounding communities come together to play, rehearse, learn and connect in an intensive and fun environment at the Winspear Centre. With expert instruction from members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and other professional musicians, this camp provides a unique opportunity for classes, rehearsals, and sectional instruction – all leading up to a performance on the stage of our exceptional concert hall!
Join us and fall in love with music-making all over again.

- Johannes Brahms – Academic Festival Overture, Op. 80

Conductor Registration
We are pleased to welcome Shah Sadikov as our conductor for Rusty Musicians Summer Camp this year!
Back by popular demand! Are you a CONDUCTOR? Join us this summer to practice your conducting skills through mentorship with our Camp Conductor, Shah Sadikov, in rehearsal with the Rusty Musicians Summer Camp Orchestra. This will be an indispensable source of new rehearsal techniques, repertoire, and teaching ideas. Participants will receive group lessons with Shah and observe him leading the orchestra while studying the repertoire being performed. This is a wonderful way to gain practical conducting experience and confidence in leading an ensemble at any skill level.
