For All Ages and Levels
Whether you have been performing for years and are looking to get to the next level or have never picked up an instrument or sung a tune, our Conservatory Instructors are here for you! Operating since 1903, the Alberta Conservatory of Music, now hosted by the Winspear Centre, offers exceptional music lessons for individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience. Lessons take place online or in-person at various locations in the Edmonton area, and each instructor sets their own fee structure and studio schedule.
All Conservatory Instructors have post-secondary training in music and offer specialized instruction in their specific area. View our teacher listing to find the right instructor for you – listings specify what each instructor offers, including age range, genres, and additional courses including theory, composition, performance coaching and/or music appreciation.
Once you have an instructor in mind, fill out our ‘Request a Teacher’ form. If you still aren't sure who to choose, you can select the option to have the Winspear team match you with an instructor - we'll do our best to find an instructor who will suit your needs.
Once you’ve been matched with your teacher, you will be required to pay an annual membership fee of $50. This fee gives you a Conservatory Student Membership which includes great perks such as discounts on ESO tickets and Winspear Learning Programs, as well as opportunities to apply to Conservatory Scholarships and Bursaries.
