Teaching Quote/Philosophy:

From absolute beginners to professionals aiming to strengthen another aspect of their practice, I enjoy setting students up to achieve their goals while shoring up their technical and creative foundations. I draw from years of experience working in many disparate music scenes to help classically trained students learn more about playing by ear/improvising, and jazz students learn more about using notation and classical music theory. I'm always excited to see students develop habits that fuel a lifelong passion for making music and sharing it with others!
