Buon Park

Buon Park is a violinist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and an experienced educator whose career spans both Korea and Canada. She has performed as Second Principal with the Seocho Philharmonic and Guest Assistant Concertmaster with the Gyeonggi Philharmonic.

Her solo and chamber music performances include appearances with the Nine Music Society, the Montreal Chamber Music Festival, and Music by the Sea. She is also a prize-winning performer, having received First Prizes at competitions such as the GGS Chamber Music Competition in Canada and the Music-Education Newspapers Competition in Korea. Buon holds an Artist Diploma from the Glenn Gould School, as well as degrees from Yonsei University and Seoul National University.

Her teaching approach is shaped by a rich musical background—years of study with distinguished mentors, participation in masterclasses with renowned artists, and a deep commitment to both performance and pedagogy.

Her students have gone on to excel in competitions and gain admission to prestigious music programs. Now based in Edmonton, she shares this experience with a new generation of learners, fostering both technical growth and a lasting love for music.
