Michel Forestier
Classical Guitar
Michel Forestier began his classical guitar studies with Carl Lotsberg in Edmonton. He continued his studies during the summers at the Orford Arts Centre in Quebec, and at The Shawnigan Summer School of the Arts in British Columbia. He has performed as a soloist and in various chamber music ensembles on television and radio.
Michel was a classical guitar instructor at MacEwan University’s Alberta College Conservatory of Music for many years and is also a faculty member at The King’s University in Edmonton. He remains active as a performer, arranger, and chamber music coach.

Lesson Description:
Michel offers private lessons in classical and finger-style guitar for students of all ages and levels. He encourages students to also play and perform with other musicians, be it family members or friends. Michel's teaching studio is located in downtown Edmonton at the ArtsHub Creative Studios.
Professional Associations and Memberships:
Michel is a certified Suzuki guitar teacher.
