Would you like a professional musician to visit your school? Apply for Adopt-A-Player and give your students the opportunity to connect with a professional musician up close!

In this newly expanded program, any class attending the Division 2 Education Concert in March can apply to “adopt” a musician to visit their classroom. Varying levels of involvement include everything from interactive performances and instrument demonstrations to a multi-week residency where students can work with a musician mentor to create an original piece of music. Teachers are invited to make their own proposals or select one of our suggested programs, and performance-based projects will have the option to participate in a Sharing Concert on the Winspear Centre stage.

Participation is free of charge and is open to all Grade 4-6 classes who attend an Education Concert in March. Up to 10 classes are selected per year.

Application deadline: Closed on December 1, 2025. Applications will re-open Summer 2026.
