Bruno Laurence Joyal is a graduate from the Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal with Patrice Richer where he completed a bachelor, a master and a 5th cycle. He also complemented his schooling in Germany with different festivals and with masters like Jesper Sørensen and Stefan Schultz from the Berlin Philharmonic, Jörgen Van Rijen, Mark Lawrence, Jonas Bylund, Joseph Alessi, Nitzan Haroz, Dankwart Schmidt, Alain Trudel and James Box. In addition from being a member of the NEM and the Montreal Trombone quartet, Bruno works actively as a freelancer with l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, l’Orchestre Métropolitain, Québec, Drummondville, Laval, Gatineau, Trois-Rivières, Saguenay Lac-St-Jean, I Musici chamber orchestra, l’Orchestre Classique de Montréal, the SMCQ and Les Violons du Roy. We can also hear him with different pop artists such as Thiscotech, Renaud Gratton, Klo Pelgag, Lysandre Ménard, Prince Mychkine, Antoine Lachance, Andreanne A. Malette, Charles Robert, Ludovic Alarie and many more artists from the Montreal scene. Bruno is also the trombone teacher at the Cégep de Vincent d’Indy.
