Elizabeth Faulkner


Elizabeth Faulkner has performed with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for over 20 years. She is presently piccolo/ 3rd flute, and has represented the ESO as their Acting Principal Flute for two seasons, as well as having held the Acting Assistant Principal Flute for an additional season.

Prior to the ESO she represented the Red Deer Symphony Orchestra as their First Flute for six years. Elizabeth has had the privilege of performing solos with such notable organizations as the ESO, Alberta Baroque Ensemble, RSDO, and Ceremonial Guard. Playing for the National Ceremonial Guard, Ms. Faulkner has helped represent Canada to royalty, foreign emissaries, national, and international leaders.

Elizabeth also enjoys teaching music. She has taught flute at the King's University, Taylor College, and Vanguard College. Her other loves include her husband, two children, and dog.
