Matthew Atkins

Matthew has a long and diverse history in the Canadian music industry. Predominantly known for his work in the county music genre, Matthew is a 4 time Canadian Country Music Association “drummer of the year” award winner, and the most nominated person in the history of that award. Besides having worked with many of Canada’s most recognizable country artists, such as Patricia Conroy, Chad Brownlee, and Duane Steele, Matthew can also be found regularly in a wide variety of other styles and situations including rock, pop, jazz, and musical theatre. Matthew makes his home in St Albert, Alberta.
