Melanie Smith-Doderai

Melanie Doderai ignites audiences with her magnetic stage presence and boundless energy. Melanie began her journey into the world of violin at the age of three. As she honed her craft, Melanie discovered her unique voice through the electric violin, seamlessly blending classical technique with modern innovation.  From symphony halls to festival stages, Melanie continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with the violin.  In 2018, Melanie combined her passion for violin and aerial arts into a unique and innovative artform known as aerial violin. Melanie is proud to have the title of being Canada's first aerial silk violinist and was recently featured on Canada's Got Talent. Beyond her performances, Melanie is a passionate advocate for music education, inspiring the next generation of musicians through workshops, masterclasses, and community outreach programs.
