Concert Updates
ESO concert updates
January 18, 2022 • 6:00 PM (MT)
Due to the current COVID-19 Omicron wave and its high rate of transmission, we are rescheduling upcoming Edmonton Symphony Orchestra concerts. We are disappointed but feel that it is the right thing to do, despite our philosophy that "the show must go on." While our musicians and guest artists especially feel a moral duty to perform regardless of circumstance, the health and welfare of everyone – our artists and staff, their loved ones, and all of you and yours – must take priority. We also need to do our part to lessen the burden on our healthcare workers with this current surge.
We promise the show will go on, and the orchestra's music will soon fill the Winspear Centre again for your enjoyment. We will always serve the human need to make and share music.
Thank you again for your support, and I hope to see you soon.
Sincerely,
Annemarie Petrov
President & CEO
