Program 1 - The Four Seasons:

The Four Seasons is a colorful collection of concerti for violin and string orchestra, each about 11 minutes long, that includes musical depictions of flowing creeks, singing birds, a shepherd and his barking dog, buzzing flies, storms, drunken dancers, hunting parties, frozen landscapes, and warm winter fires. Written 1720, this music has since become composer Antonio Vivaldi’s “greatest hit."

Program 2 - Family Fun:

A fun and engaging hour of music for families including excerpts by Beethoven (Ode to Joy & Eroica Symphony), Mozart (Horn Concerto & Clarinet Quintet), Strauss (Blue Danube Waltz) and Bach (Concerto for Two Violins & Bourrée) among others, as well as a Classical Sing-Along of familiar tunes (you’ll be surprised how much classical music you already know), a mash-up of music from the movies, and some close encounters with the instruments of the orchestra.
