Conducted by Nicholas McGegan
Friday, October 14, 2022 7:30 PM

Feel the joy! Handel’s Royal Fireworks Music and Rameau’s opera Naïs, subtitled “Opera for Peace,” were composed to celebrate the 1749 treaty between Britain and France. Guest conductor Nicholas McGegan brings this jubilant music to life and is joined by ESO soloists for an evening of Bach, Vivaldi, Handel, and Rameau.
