Edmonton’s supreme saxophone master PJ Perry brings Charlie Parker’s legendary orchestral jazz recordings from the 1940s and ‘50s to life in this nostalgic concert event. Featuring the ESO strings, the program includes familiar standards of the golden age, topped off with selections from a new suite for full orchestra, written especially for PJ.
