Rachmaninoff's Third Piano Concerto was his heroically virtuosic follow-up to the popular Second, and its challenges are matched only by its melody and drive. Dvořák's “New World” Symphony is one of the greatest ever written – a paean for his homeland, written from far away and full of yearning and splendour.

Program to include:

Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, Op. 30
Dvořák Symphony No. 9 in E minor, "From the New World", Op. 95, B. 178
