About The Concert
Known for her "clear, brilliant and crystalline voice," Canadian soprano Magali Simard-Galdè makes her ESO debut with a performance full of song, including Mahler's colourful Symphony No. 4, and two heavenly selections by Mozart for voice and orchestra.
Plus, inspired by a poem of the same name, Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending will feature ESO's own violinist Eric Buchmann playing the role of the titular bird in this moving work.
This concert will include an intermission.
