This year’s headliner is none other than Lindi Ortega! Ortega’s guitar-playing chops and innate country music instincts put her in an elite group of artists; she has earned an unusually inclusive type of success with both indie cred and mainstream country recognition. From supporting Carrie Underwood on the CMA Awards to her opening slot on Chris Stapleton’s recent Canadian arena tour, Ortega is a sought-after and unique personality in Nashville’s music community and beyond.
This year's event also features the Emerald Chorus performing I Am Harvey Milk, words and music by Andrew Lippa - Commissioned by San Francisco’s Gay Men’s Chorus, in honour of Harvey Milk and the 35th anniversary of the chorus. This beautiful work features Ron Long and will be directed and conducted by Daryl Price. Emceed by CTV Morning Live’s Stacey Brotzel, you'll also see amazing performances from DJ Queerbait and MANUP!
In the lobby, we will host our Inaugural Art Walk, featuring some of Edmonton’s finest visual artists. Plus pop-up burlesque and a silent auction with something for everyone.
As has become a tradition, all attendees are asked to bring a bottle of wine to donate to our silent auction as one lucky person will win “Wine For A Year”.
