Choir Alberta is pleased to present the Grammy Award®-winning vocal ensemble, The King’s Singers, for a special evening of singing and stories. Recognized around the world for their life-affirming virtuosity and irresistible charm, the ensemble performs a wide ranging repertoire that includes everything from Renaissance and Romantic to jazz and pop.
In this special hour-long lecture recital, The King’s Singers will offer a glimpse into life behind the scenes in the group. Stories from the road, what it’s like to rehearse and perform without a conductor, and the group’s artistic process will all be part of the conversation. And, of course, they will sing!
Not only is the level of artistry presented by The King’s Singers second to none, but they are also great entertainers who share the joy that singing brings to everyday life. Both singers and non-singers will leave the evening feeling uplifted, enriched, and a little more musically savvy.
