First prize winner of Amsterdam Virtuoso International Music Competition, Young Steinway Artist Richard He invites you for an energetic and unforgettable music evening! In this concert, Richard He will present Liszt’s technique-demanding 12 transcendental Etudes in an unconventional order that intends to create a much more satisfied and cohesive listening experience for the audience.

The Butterfly Lover’s Violin Concerto has always been one of Chinese history’s most beloved music compositions. It is the Oriental version of “Romeo and Juliet”, a love story filled with beautiful soul-touching melody and passionate rebellious spirit. To carry on Lisztian tradition, Richard He will perform the solo piano arrangement for this fantastic work which undoubtedly be an incredible aesthetic experience for western audiences.

After Odyssey: Liszt Transcription, his debut record, was released in 2021, Richard put all of his attention into creating a beautiful recital program for Canada tour. Starting in Victoria, Richard will travel to seven Canadian cities, including Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Calgary, and Edmonton. Richard He with his remarkable skill, impassioned performance, and imaginative interpretation, is a brilliant rising star in the world of classical music.
