About The Concert

The Maple Leaf Region 26 Competition brings together award-winning women’s choruses and quartets from Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, all competing in the thrilling a cappella barbershop style.
Think powerhouse vocals, storytelling, choreography, emotion, and joy. Each performance a bite-sized musical packed into just a few unforgettable minutes. Every note is sung live. Every moment is high energy.
This year’s competition is especially exciting, featuring two former Regional Champion choruses facing off, both fresh from Championships at the Barbershop International Competitions. The quartet contest is equally stacked, with seasoned champions and exciting new groups all vying for Regional gold—and an invitation to the World Championships.
Best of all? The atmosphere is electric and uplifting. These performers are fierce competitors and each other’s biggest fans, creating a one-of-a-kind experience that’s as heart-warming as it is jaw-dropping.
