Associate Director, Facility Operations & Capital Asset Management


This position ensures operational excellence with the goal of maximizing the organization’s operational integrity and financial viability. In this role, you are responsible for making sure the facility runs smoothly by creating a safe and productive workplace and by taking care of issues related to daily operations, maintenance, safety (including OH&S), and comfort. You implement the capital replacement plan, contribute to budget discussions, track fixed assets, and establish strategies to manage assets (such as plant and equipment) to achieve the greatest return. Through careful supervision of IT, security, and maintenance support services, you ensure organizational effectiveness by providing the best possible infrastructure and service to all users (internal and external).

Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree and/or Facilities Management Administrator (FMA) Designation with related experience in building operations, facilities administration, capital asset management, and/or finance. You are a strong communicator, in person and in writing, who is conscientious, organized, and diligent with details. Understanding of IT infrastructure and a solid background in finance are strong advantages. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and previous work experience.

Patron Development Associate


This position is responsible for building and nurturing relationships with subscribers and donors, providing administrative and creative support to the funds development team and acting as a touch point for existing and prospective subscribers.

Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree and related experience with marketing, sales, and/or funds development and donor relations. To succeed in this role, you are passionate about the arts and you love meeting new people and attending events. You are a strong communicator who is conscientious, organized, and diligent with details. Experience with events coordination and ticket services is beneficial. A love of music and your appreciation of the value arts and culture bring to the community as a whole are essential to success in this role.

YONA-Sistema Part-time & Substitute Teaching Artists: Cello/Bass & Strings


The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra’s vision is to make music accessible to everyone and minimize barriers for people to access musical arts experiences. Our Educational Outreach team is seeking multiple qualified, dedicated Teaching Artists (Cello/Bass, Part-time) and Substitute Teaching Artists (Strings) to join us in the YONA-Sistema program, which enacts social change through music education for Edmonton’s underserved youth.

Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree (preferably in music, education, or a related field) and a minimum of 1-2 years in a teaching or child-care setting. Experience teaching string instruments to children or working with groups of children is an asset. Successful candidates are positive, open-minded, empathetic, non-judgmental and committed to building strong communities.
