Community Relations Manager


This self-directed position involves stewarding existing partnerships, identifying strategic opportunities, and finding creative ways to inspire and maintain partner engagement. In this role, you are actively involved in community events and communication with existing and prospective partners. Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree and related experience with community relations, public relations, sponsorships, project management, marketing, and sales. You are a strong communicator, in person and in writing, who is conscientious, organized, and diligent with details. Understanding of events coordination and social sector not-for-profits is beneficial.

Facility Operations Manager (SEARCH ON HOLD)


We are seeking a Facility Operations Manager. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, this position is responsible for making sure the facility runs smoothly by creating a safe and productive workplace, managing support staff and subcontractors, and taking care of issues related to daily operations, maintenance, safety (including OH&S), and comfort. Applicants will be interviewed on an ongoing basis and interviews will continue until a suitable candidate is found.

YONA-Sistema Part-Time & Substitute Teaching Artists: Cello/Bass & Strings


The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra’s vision is to make music accessible to everyone and minimize barriers for people to access musical arts experiences. Our Educational Outreach team is seeking multiple qualified, dedicated Teaching Artists (Strings, Contract) and Substitute Teaching Artists (Strings) to join us in the Youth Orchestra of Northern Alberta Sistema (YONA-Sistema) program, which enacts social change through music education for Edmonton’s underserved youth.

Your qualifications include a post-secondary degree (preferably in music, education, or a related field) and a minimum of 1-2 years in a teaching or child-care setting. Experience teaching string instruments to children or working with groups of children is an asset. Successful candidates are positive, open-minded, empathetic, non-judgmental and committed to building strong communities.
