Instrument Donations
Do you have an instrument that you no longer use?
In the hands of a student, a musical instrument can become so much more than a simple vessel for sound – it can become an instrument for growth, an instrument for development, and an instrument for change.
The ESO and Winspear education programs, including YONA, are currently in need of:
- Violins
- Violas
- Cellos
- Basses
At this time, we are not able to accept donations of instruments other than those that are listed above.
How to donate
- Drop off your gently used orchestral instruments at the security desk of the Winspear Centre (Front Entrance, off 99 St). Please call the Winspear Security Team at 780.401.2565 when you arrive. A Security Team member will meet you at the front lobby doors of the Winspear.
- You will be asked to fill out and sign a donation form.
- We accept donations 7 days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM.
- Charitable receipts will be issued for an instrument donation if accompanied by an official appraisal from one of the following appraisers: PJ Tan, Long & McQuade, and other professional appraisers upon ESO approval.
