Naomi Reitzin

Naomi is from Jamaica, where she received her training in violin. At the end of 2023, she completed a Master of Arts in English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. Teaching high school English in Jamaica sparked in her a desire to pursue education and youth development. At YONA, she continues to feed that passion by helping to provide an exciting space for young people to learn music and to see themselves as emerging leaders in their own communities.
