Experience two sides of Mozart—his intense and dramatic Piano Concerto No. 24 of which Beethoven said admiringly to his student Czerny, “we will never write anything like that!” and the sunny and energetic Symphony No. 31 "Paris" reflecting the bustling French capital. The ESO premiere of Camille Pépin’s colourful tone poem Un Monde Nouveau, and the Edmonton debut of celebrated British pianist Christian Blackshaw, will make this a concert to remember.
