Nava Yamach

Born and raised in St. Albert, Nava began learning the cello at the age of four. Throughout 20 years of music lessons, theory classes, local and provincial competitions, Edmonton Youth Orchestra, concerts, and other diverse performances, she studied and developed her musicianship with two exceptional teachers in Edmonton – Grazyna Sobieraj and Tanya Prochazka. Graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Alberta, Nava now has the joy of combining her knowledge and experience with her passions for music and childhood education.
