Event Cancelled Due To Inclement Weather

Unfortunately, the ESO Outdoors Castle Downs concert is cancelled due to inclement weather. Unfortunately, this concert cannot be rescheduled. We will automatically refund all Pay What You Can ticket amounts to the original payment method – no action is required at this time.

We hope that you will join us at ESO Outdoors Fort Saskatchewan on Saturday, August 19 at 7:00 PM. The same program that was scheduled for this concert will be performed. Please note that unlike Castle Downs, there will not be any food trucks at the Fort Saskatchewan concert on Saturday. The same program will also be performed on Sunday, August 27 at 2 PM in Stony Plain.

The Saturday, August 19 ESO Outdoors concert will take place at Legacy Park (9904 101 Street, Fort Saskatchewan). Click here to view the event page.

The Edmonton Symphony Orchestra musicians are on the move! This summer, join members of your ESO in your neighbourhood through ESO Outdoors. Curated groups of ESO members will perform delightful renditions of memorable songs spanning multiple genres, including classical, pops, and Hollywood film scores.

These Pay-What-You-Can concerts will take place in outdoor spaces in Edmonton and surrounding communities as the ESO musicians connect with you through the power of live music.

The following food trucks on site will be open from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM:

General Information

  • We strongly recommend that you RSVP. Reserving a spot ensures that you will receive any updates regarding your concert, including weather-related cancellations.
  • Seating is general admission.
  • Bring your own seat / blanket.
  • Pay what you can: Enter the amount that is right to you.
    The suggested value per person is $25.
  • Please note that all outdoor concerts are dependent on weather conditions.
