See our Bach concerto soloist, Anthony Trionfo in his element.  Anthony is a renowned flautist performing all over the world who also is a wonderful mentor of his craft. Observe Anthony’s one-to-one coaching with aspiring flute players and pick up some tips and new skills for yourself! Be a part of this joint venture between the Winspear Centre and the Edmonton Flute Association. If you are a flute enthusiast or enjoy learning more about music, this is an opportunity for you! 

This Flute Masterclass will take place in person at the Winspear Centre on Saturday, March 9 at 1:00 PM.


Flute Day

In addition to the masterclass, join us for Flute Day 2024 celebrations! Flute Day will begin at 10:00 AM on March 9 with two workshops in the morning given by Elizabeth Koch (Principal Flute, ESO), Sarah Pollard (Assistant Principal Flute & Piccolo, ESO) and Tami Cooper, a vendor hall for shopping and networking opportunities, and following the masterclass, there will be an opportunity for participants to play together in a massed flute choir under the direction of Petar Dundjerski from 3:30 - 5:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. Flute Day access is included in the purchase of a Masterclass ticket.
