Meran Currie-Roberts' playlist
This is a pretty eclectic playlist, but it definitely sums up my musical tastes.
I enjoy music by strong, female composers and singer songwriters - represented here by Tanya Tagaq, Ana Sokolovic, Sarah Slean, Joni Mitchell, Regina Spector and Dame Ethel Smyth.
My desert island "traditional" pieces are Mahler 5, Beethoven 7, chamber music by Beethoven, Schubert and Mendelssohn, and Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto.
And guilty pleasures (I love musicals) from Hamilton, La La Land (best movie about relationships in the arts), and the Beatles, and one of my personal heroes, civil rights activist, Pete Seger, singing Malvina Reynolds' "Little Boxes.
