A Message from Our Chief Conductor and President & CEO
As we write this, people are suffering unspeakable horrors in Ukraine. In one united voice - as artists - we must unreservedly condemn violence and use our art to bring what is positive and kind, fair and just, to the world. As an organization, and as a tightly knit community of people with shared values, we align with causes for peace, tolerance, diversity, mutual understanding and, above all, kindness. The Winspear/ESO family have donated to the Canadian Red Cross Ukrainian Humanitarian Appeal and we encourage anyone who is able to donate to the charity of their choice. Together, let’s help our fellow humans, who are in so much need.
