About The Concert

The Richard Eaton Singers and choirs from the University of Alberta join the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for a special performance of Fauré’s monumental Requiem, one of the hallmarks of choral repertoire. The program also includes two works by prominent Canadian composer John Estacio, one of which was commissioned by the Richard Eaton Singers in memory of a former choir member.

Prelude

Patrons of this event are invited to attend a prelude presentation before this concert on Friday, November 8th, starting at 6:45 PM in the Upper Circle Lobby (3rd Floor). This talk by Dr. Fabio Morabito is a fantastic way to learn more about the pieces being performed in your concert.
