About The Concert
Nostalgic selections from The Nutcracker, a beloved ballet and one of Tchaikovsky’s most well-known compositions, will bring in wintery cheer. Even though Mozart never wrote a full ballet, he included the dance and accompanying music as part of his opera Idomeneo. Works by 20th century French composers Ibert and Tailleferre round out the program with elegance and charm.
