About The Concert
Pacho Flores brings his incredible trumpet skills as he makes his ESO debut performing his own dynamic concerto for flugelhorn, as well as the spirited Huapango by Mexican composer José Pablo Moncayo. After taking over a decade to compose his first symphony, Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 was finished in less than a year. However, this did not compromise the intricate and rich sound of the masterpiece, which includes his recognizable “lullaby” theme.
