Live At The Winspear and JCL Productions are proud to present Bahamas: The Bootcut Tour. The Canadian indie-rock artist returns to the Winspear Centre for the first time since 2021. The JUNO Award-winning singer-songwriter, born Afie Jurvanen, released his sixth album in the fall of 2023. The new album is a departure from the artist’s usual style – instead of indie rock, it’s a set of country ballads inspired by artists such as Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Sturgill Simpson. Rolling Stone calls the Bootcut album “a gorgeous listening experience – and a reminder that the best country music doesn’t have to come from Nashville’s insulated Music Row.” What hasn’t changed is the artist’s ability to write a song that tugs on the heartstrings while making you ponder life.
