Safety • COVID-19 Response

Updated September 23, 10 AM (MT)

With the recent trend in confirmed cases and hospitalizations, the Winspear Centre has updated its COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or proof of negative PCR test results within 48 hours of attendance is required to enter the Winspear Centre, effective October 1, 2021.

We believe that this is essential to provide a safe environment for our patrons, musicians, and staff, as well as to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community. The Winspear Centre already requires all staff and musicians to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • Everyone ages 12 and up must present proof upon arrival that they have been fully vaccinated (final dose received at least 14 days prior to the event).
  • Everyone aged 18 and over must show photo ID along with their proof of vaccination or a negative test.
  • Valid electronic or paper copies will be accepted. Albertans can provide their immunization records through the MyHealthRecords app. Albertans can also provide their COVID-19 Vaccine Record card (print or electronic). Other Provincial, Territorial, or Federal equivalents records will also be accepted. Your personal health records will not be scanned, saved, or shared.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
  • Masks are mandatory for everyone in all public indoor spaces, as per the requirements put in place by the Province of Alberta and City of Edmonton.
  • We ask that if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, do not come to the Winspear Centre. Please contact the Box Office to discuss your options.

We will be monitoring the COVID-19 situation in our city and the province closely, and will update our protocols as needed. Please refer to your concert’s event page for show-specific information and continue to check back regularly prior to visiting the Winspear Centre.
