Adopt-a-Player

In this free program, students explore the joys of creating and performing their own musical work, led by an ESO musician! Accepted classes will be paired with a musician from the ESO, who will visit the school throughout the program and collaborate with teachers and students to compose an original piece of music. Students will learn about compositional structure and gain an understanding of how to perform in an ensemble, while getting to know a professional musician. The program culminates in a performance of the student compositions on-stage at the Winspear Centre.
